TOURVILLE LOVES THE OPÉRA GARNIER
The Opéra Garnier is an emblematic monument of the city of Paris. Located in the 9th arrondissement, this theatre hosts numerous artistic events such as dance, music and theatre.
The opera was built at the request of Napoleon III by the architect Charles Garnier. He was chosen for the richness and boldness he wanted to bring to the monument. At the end of its construction, the incredible building became the largest opera house in Europe with 1900 seats and was classified as a historical monument.
Today, in addition to being able to admire wonderful performances, it is possible for us to visit the opera to discover the secrets of its construction.
