Do not miss, June 21st 2018, the 37th edition of the Music Festival!
Founded in France in 1982 by the Ministry of Culture, the Music Festival is celebrated today in a hundred countries around the world.
Called World Music Day abroad, this festival, originally only French, seeks to promote music for all.
I consider the music festival to be a must-attend event, a joyous party that puts the beginning of summer under the sign of culture and sharing.
The French capital will allow you to approach the Music Festival in several ways, either by strolling randomly in the streets of Paris, or by choosing a specific concert!
Do you know, dear readers, that the date of June 21st is the summer solstice, the first day of the summer season and therefore the end of spring.
The Music Festival is a great way to celebrate the arrival of good weather and start the season of terraced evenings!
Rap, jazz, soul, classical... There's something for everyone! Rock bands at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, classical concert on the Notre-Dame square or accordionists in Montmartre, the music festival is a unique show in Paris!
Childhood and Passions
Music is essential for me, it allows me to escape, to dream. A feeling of well-being invades me when I listen to music. Sometimes, it can make me happy but also melancholic. I often associate it with my childhood memories.
The music accompanies the man since always. I like to listen to music that has a meaning, a usefulness: for example, music that bears witness to an era or that carries a social and political commitment.
I really enjoy classical music. Whether it is a work of art by Mozart, Beethoven or Chopin, all are immortal and allow the expression of feelings: rage, love or joy.
I am very attentive and impressed when I hear music. As a child, I took piano lessons that allowed me to understand music. It also helped me focus and develop my memory.
Music is very important in our family. When my parents planned a trip, if it was possible, we took advantage of this trip to see a musical piece. I remember a trip to Toronto where we had a performance of The Nutcracker. Today, as soon as I hear Tchaïkovsky’s tune, it reminds me of the Nutcracker ballet show.
